Dinner Carbonara

One of my go to dinner meals has always been Spaghetti Carbonara, it’s so easy and a family favorite. This is one of those dishes that comes together in 15 minutes or less, seriously! Carbonara is an Italian pasta dish from Rome, the sauce is a very unique texture made with egg and cheese. The recipe is not fixed by a specific type of cheese so it’s one of those recipes that I adapt depending on what I have avalible in the fridge. My favorites are parmesan or cheddar.

Best Summer Smoothies

Now that summer is here my go to breakfast before work is a fresh smoothie! You can do so many different flavors and add so much nutritional value there are endless options. Full disclosure, I’m not really a follow the recipe kind girl when it comes to smoothies. I throw in a little bit of this or that usually I add a bit of plain Greek yogurt to thicken and add some extra protein, and as long as I have enough fresh or frozen fruit they always turn out good!

Breakfast Ham and Egg Cups

This is my go to breakfast on the weekend, especially if we have guests. They are so simple and easy to make and if you have a large muffin tin you can make plenty to go around without hardly any extra work! I like to make these ham egg cups into small breakfast sandwiches using toasted English muffins and adding a slice of American cheese! Total cooking time is approx. 12-18 min depending on how runny you like your eggs.
