Best Summer Smoothies

Now that summer is here my go to breakfast before work is a fresh smoothie! You can do so many different flavors and add so much nutritional value there are endless options. Full disclosure, I’m not really a follow the recipe kind girl when it comes to smoothies. I throw in a little bit of this or that usually I add a bit of plain Greek yogurt to thicken and add some extra protein, and as long as I have enough fresh or frozen fruit they always turn out good!

Below, I’ve included a few of my favorite recipes with a little info on their added health benefits for some inspiration!

This Protein-rich, mineral-filled smoothie will give you long-lasting energy. Cinnamon will help to control your blood sugar so your energy level won’t crash too quickly.

This vitamin-rich green smoothie contains calcium, magnesium and other bone building minerals to keep your bones strong and healthy.
